Express Entry
The best way to immigrate to Canada is through Express Entry. Canada welcomes more than 100000 immigrants under express entry category every year. This program is for skilled workers who wish to become permanent residents of Canada. Family Sponsorship Program
Family sponsorship program is a pathway to sponsor spouse, children and parents to Canada. More than 100000 people migrate to Canada through this program every year. Through this program, you can sponsor a family member to Canada and let them get permanent residence. You have to make a commitment to support and provide basic needs to them with financial support. There are two programs: super visa and grandparent sponsorship program (PGP) that help you to bring your parents and grandparents to Canada.
Your grandparents and parents can come to Canada on extended multiple-entry visas if they come through super visa program. Multiple entry visas can last for up to 10 years in total. You can apply to this program at the same time when you apply for PGP program as it is always open and therefore, you can apply anytime.
Permanent residents and Canadian citizens can sponsor their grandparents and parents to immigrate to Canada. When the sponsored parents and grandparents get the approval to immigrate to Canada under this program, they will get permanent residency in Canada and become eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship. Both the parents and grandparents can avail the full benefits of Canadian permanent residency.
Home Care Provider Pilot
Care givers are important for the Canada’s aging population, society and economy. Canada provides opportunities for caregivers who wish to obtain permanent residence in Canada. There are two pilot programs that help them seek temporary work permit while they wait for their permanent residence. The applicants can obtain temporary permit through these pilot programs: Home Child Care Provider Pilot and the other Home Support Worker Pilot. Both these programs provide pathways that help care givers to obtain permanent residence if they meet the eligibility criteria. The candidates should score a CLB of 5 in the language tests. They should also have around two years of full-time work experience in the three years prior to submitting their application. They should also complete one-year post-secondary education (Canadian) and also pass an admissibility test.
